Built for harbor and inland waterway ship-assist, the 3,000-horsepower Martinac 75' Z-Drive Tug is powered by two Detroit Diesel 16V-149 TI-DDEC engines and utilizes two Niigata 360° rotatable z-drives with Kort Nozzles. The potent combination allows this stout vessel to achieve 85,000 pounds of bollard pull. With two Cummins 115-kilowatt generators, an 8,000-pound Atlas hydraulic deck crane and an operating crew of only two men, this tug is one of the most cost-effective workboats available.
