M/V America & M/V Pacific Star

The M/V America and M/V Pacific Star were delivered to Signet Maritime Corporation of Houston and leased to Foss Maritime. The two vessels are Robert Allan design, ABS A1 escort tugs with FiFi1 AMS. The are both 98’ x 40’ and deliver more than 6600 HP from two MTU 16V-4000 engines, driving two Niigata ZP-41 360° azimuthing drives with Kort nozzles. The vessel’s Markey 75 HP electric winch delivers over 80 metric tonnes bollard pull. They carry 46,000 gallons of fuel and accommodates six crew members each. The vessels are in service in the Puget Sound and San Francisco.
